Hello fellow quilters and sewing enthusiasts! Do you love fabrics of all shapes and sizes? Do you have fabrics set aside for just the right project? Maybe you have been making a list of must -have fabrics. We are going to turn those eye-catching fabrics both large and small into cherished quilts and craft projects.
** Yes, we know … It is called a SCRAP-A-THON. How can one use ANY FABRICS they choose? Well, consider this. Whenever you cut fabric from a larger piece, it becomes a scrap. So, a scrap could be considered literally any piece of fabric. **
You are invited to join us for the 2nd Annual SCRAP-A-THON. We are celebrating the amazing art of quilting all year! The casual, sew-at-your-own-pace quilt and sew along is focused on making beautiful projects you enjoiy. We will feature quilts, tote bags, organizers, and more. You choose the patterns to sew – or sew along with us. The goal is to sew what you enjoy while using what you have. Of course, if you find the need to purchase additional fabrics, we most definitely will celebrate with you. Who doesn’t love a new tote filled with fabric goodies!
The year-long casual event will conclude March 2023, when we celebrate National Quilting Month. What do you think? Should we include another SCRAPBUSTER SAMPLER in March like we did for the first round? A new block pattern was released each day. - Casual, Sew-At-Your-Own Pace Event
- Choose Your Favorite Patterns and Fabrics
- Use Yardage, Precuts, or Scraps.
